Why does love have to be so cruel? Why is it you come and abuse me like a fool?
One of the worst things in life is the pain that you cause!
Damn you and every moment you were with me like the wizard of Oz.
Swept me off my feet then buried me as you left.
So much for your magic that tears my heart in two,
Yet it was deserved for loving someone like you.
Maybe I am not just in my words for it is faith for us to part
Or is it? Time will tell, yet this broken heart has gone to hell.
I will move on as will my love grow for another some day
Soon I would assume for that will make you pray
Pray for someone like me as you will realize what you have lost
Life is already looking up as my heart recovers from its pain
And so life goes on and I can only say that this was a gain.
